Not as fully believed truths, but also not as false memories either. 3 — I am interested in the ineffable artifacts that accompany memory. 4 — In Italo Calvino's novel Invisible Cities, Marco Polo always uses aspects of his home, Venice, to describe another fictional city. 5 — As a musician, I am magnetized by sound's power to locate me in relation to both physical and perceptual space. 6 — Art at its best can be an exercise in personal, perceptual location.
